S.Balachandran is a Painter, Singer, Guitarist, Athlete, love travelling and many more A member of Rotary Club of New Bombay Seaside since the year 2014, S.Balachandran is the Club Secretary of the Awesome Rotary Year 2024-25. He has 35 years of corporate experience behind him in field of Financial Administration and worked as a DGM - Commercial for the Enterprise Division of Reliance Communications at their National HQ at DAKC, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai till the year 2017. Prior to this, he worked for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for close to 20 years at New Delhi and Kolkata. He took a break from his corporate career and turned towards his other areas of interest. A passionate artist since his early years, he has participated in many Art exhibitions across India and done several commissioned works of Art and portrait painting. He has been working towards promoting Indian Artists and Sculptors since past six years and is connected with several upcoming and established artists across the country. Taking note of the fact the Navi Mumbai doesn’t have any exclusive Art Gallery or Art exhibitions happening, he curated the first major Art Exhibition titled “KALASARJANA”at Nerul Gymkhana, Navi Mumbai during the year 2022 as a New Project of Rotary Club of New Bombay Seaside in which more than 100 artworks of 27 artists from different states of India were exhibited. .This was followed by a string of Art Exhibitions at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Vashi. Recently, he has co-founded Rangabhoomi Art Gallery, which has been curating and organising Art exhibitions regularly in Navi Mumbai for the benefit of art lovers and for furthering the cause of promoting art and artists. Bala is also a passionate singer and plays a few musical instruments.
